TN-IMPACT Hackathon – Student Agreement
You must be a currently enrolled student or researcher from an institution approved under TN-IMPACT.
You must provide correct personal and college details. Incorrect or misleading details may lead to rejection or disqualification.
Teams must consist of the permitted number of members. Team members cannot be changed once registration closes.
All solutions must be developed within the Hackathon duration. Open-source components may be used with proper permissions and credit. Pre-built solutions that directly solve the problem are not allowed. TN-IMPACT may showcase your solution (excluding confidential industry data) for promotion and academic value.
Existing ideas/code you bring remain your property. New IP created during the event follows the agreed terms with the respective industry partner (including right-of-first-refusal or defined ownership transfer).
Industry problem statements and shared data must be treated as confidential and should not be distributed or discussed outside your team.
Provided company data may only be used for the specific Hackathon problem.
You must comply with instructions, rules, and all applicable laws. Plagiarism, misconduct, or unethical practices will lead to disqualification.
Participants are responsible for their own devices, security, and data during the Hackathon.
